PICENO'S SMALL MARKETS

Handicraft, antiquities, collecting and typical products are the undisputed protagonists in the summer small markets, that take place from the afternoon to the late night in several towns and villages along the coast and throughout the hinterland.
 

These dates – most of them are weekly - attract visitor’s attention and changes their nights into pleasant and relaxing walks along the lively streets of town centres.
Among the many appointments of Grottammare stands out Monday’s ‘Mercatino de le Grotte’ along the panoramic road of the old town. Another market we point out is ‘L’antico e le Palme’, an antiques fair , the July smaller version than San Benedetto’s edition that stands up at the end of June and on the last week of August along the pedestrian area.
